PROCESS OF MEDICAL DIPLOMA RECOGNITION IN SLOVAKIA

Request
A doctor, a dentist, a pharmacist or a nurse who received a medical diploma outside of Slovakia fills out the form and attaches scans of the required documents.
Translation of the diploma
As soon as the request is received, we begin to translate the diploma, diploma supplement and documents about previous education, using the information indicated on the scanned copies received.

From the doctor we expect the originals of the diploma and diploma supplement, as well as payment for the service.
Notarization of a diploma
After receiving the original diploma and confirmation of payment, we make a notarized copy of the medical education documents and link the translations.
State duty
We pay the state fee for nostrification of your diploma and receive confirmation.
Application for recognition of diploma
We correctly and carefully fill out the Application for recognition of diploma and professional qualifications in a regulated profession in the Slovak Republic on your behalf, attach all the necessary documents and send them for consideration to the Ministry of Education of Slovakia.
Waiting up to 2 months
The period for recognition of a diploma of a foreign specialist, in accordance with § 30 of the Law on the recognition of educational documents and on the recognition of professional qualifications, as well as on amendments and additions to certain laws, is 2 months.

At this time, the physician can calmly study the Medical Slovak language and prepare for the Qualification / Additional exam (Doplňujúca skúška).
